Never heard of Somatic Intimacy Coaching?
You are not alone!
With roots in modalities ranging from classical coaching, through Wheel of Consent® to Sexological Bodywork (to list just the most popular) - it is a method of working with intimacy and sexuality.
Its main features are learning by doing (rather than just talk), working from your intentions (rather than diagnosing), and doing it all at your chosen pace (to enable progress honouring your nervous system).
Below you can explore some common questions that explain why people choose Sexological Intimacy Coaching and how it can support you - along with some practical FAQs.
Somatic Intimacy Coaching is available to everyone - regardless of gender, romantic or sexual identity.
SIC can help you become more connected to your body, navigate intimacy with fluency, deepen your pleasure and its understanding and provide you with useful tools to use in both your erotic and daily life. Depending on your needs it can be used to address existing challenges or as a gateway on a journey to discover more of yourself. If it all sounds too vague - here are some of the intentions that people come to Somatic Intimacy Coaching with: - "I want to be able to ask for what I want in bed"
- "I want to be more present during sex"
- "I want to explore anal pleasure" - "I want to find freedom from shame"
- "I want to rediscover and accept my body after gender affirming surgery" - "I want to reconnect to my body after an experience of trauma"
- "I feel limited in what turns me on and would like to explore new possibilities"
- "I feel like I am sexually stuck doing the same things over and over again"
If any of those sound familiar or if you're yet unsure whether SIC is something you'd like to explore - you're always welcome to book a free discovery call with me. My space is and will remain open to all - no matter your level of sexual experience, physical ability or your relationship with your body.
There are numerous positive outcomes that you may enjoy as fruit of Somatic Intimacy Coaching. The sessions I offer can help you to: - tune into your needs and wants - and learn how to express them - understand, feel and respect boundaries - both yours and those of others
- expand your pleasure from genitals to include all of your body - learn to accept your body and disentangle from shame
- start feeling your emotions in an embodied way
- notice the opportunities to slow down and experience immersive pleasure in your daily life
- reconnect to yourself after an experience of detachment from body
- unweave old, limiting habits and make space for ones that nourish
...and many more
If there are any aspects of intimacy that you would like to explore within the sessions with me - I will be honoured to support you in this process!
Sexological Intimacy Coaching is not therapy.
Even though our sessions may offer new insights and valuable tools that can help you in both erotic and daily life - the work is also vastly distinct from traditional therapy approach.
The main differences are:
- We work with what you are arriving with now and what you desire to embody in the future - rather than working with focus on your past.
- It is not a space of diagnosis.
My role is to support you in a process of becoming embodied and empowered - a metamorphosis that works only at your own pace and within the frame that you get to co-establish. I do not claim to have the answers, but rather - welcome you whole with radical acceptance.
All that being said - even though Sexological Intimacy Coaching is not therapy - it can be supportive alongside or after one. SIC offers tools that can help you (among many other things):
- disentangle shame,
- reclaim your agency and choice,
- feel where in your body are emotions experience
- better understand what you want from life.
All of those are aligned with contemporary therapy models and can support / continue the process.
As somatic intimacy coach I make sure that each of our meetings includes all of the below elements:
1) Welcome and check-in
- where you can share what are you arriving with.
2) Arrival Embodiment practice
- that supports you in reconnecting with your body and grounding.
3) Check-in - where you can share what is present for you after arriving more fully.
4) Learning Intention - where we are exploring what would you like to work with today.
5) Practice Agreement - where you will be offered two practices aligned with your intention. Before going into it - we will co-create its clear container (time length, preferences, limits, ways to stop the practice). You can also choose neither of the suggested practices and use them as an inspiration for asking for something else. 6) The Practice - where you get to explore your inner somatic landscape with my support within the co-created container. If you are curious which tools can we work with - check the "What practices do you use?" question below.
7) Installation - a time when when you can be with what you just experienced in silence, which supports integrating gathered somatic insights.
8) Reflections - where you can share about your experience.
9) Home Practice - where you can decide how would you like to continue the learning.
10) Feedback - where you can share what worked well for you and what could have been done differently
Somatic Intimacy Coaching consists of a toolkit of over 25 various somatic practices that can be used to support you in connecting with your body.
The choice of which one to use is always co-created: after sharing your session’s intention, you will be offered two practices, that you can choose from - or use them as inspiration for finding something else that you would like to experience instead.
Below is a short, non-exhaustive list of the tools that you can wish to explore:
- Guided body scans
- Body focusing
- Recognition of somatic yes and now
- Body poem
- Elements of Wheel of Consent
- Mapping of genital / anal sensations
- Mindful self-pleasure coaching
- Using breath / movement / touch / sound / focus of attention to self-regulate
- Deactivating shame
If you would like to get a full list - please get in touch!
There is absolutely nothing that you will have to do during the sessions. Everything I offer is an invitation and your choice of what to do (and what not to do) is the most important.
The scope of this choice includes (but is not limited to):
- what is your intention for the session
- what practice you choose
- how long will the practice be
- your level of nudity during any part of the session
- how much of you will be visible during the practice
- or even whether you want to do any practice at all
In the words of Betty Martin “the choosing is more important than the doing”. If there are things you would like to explore but are unsure about - it is my job to support you in the process of finding out what are you ready experience - what matters is your agency in the process.
The sessions can be either 75 or 90 minutes. It is your up to you which one to choose.
From experience - the 90 minute containers feel more spacious and more like two sessions at once. They're also necessary for some types of practices (f.ex. live solo pleasure coaching, anal massage or genital mapping).
Also - every 6th session is always 90 minutes, but costs the same as 75 mins one. The last part of this 1,5 hour is used as a space to review your goals and as a check-in for whether you want to continue our work together. You can of course stop the sessions sooner than the 6th one if you decide that they are not what you’re looking for.
I currently offer two session lengths:
70 minutes - the full price is 70 EUR
90 minutes - the full price is 90 EUR
In case paying the full price is not possible for you - I do offer a reduced payment options using a solidarity scale. You can look up the details here.
I do. If you pay for 5 sessions in advance, then the 6th one is free.
As of 2025 there is unfortunately no way to work with me in-person. I am planning to start introducing this option to people located in the East of Germany and in Warsaw, Poland in 2026.
No, not at all.
This work can be done from the very ground up or with skills you already have. In either scenario - it can help you to connect to your body at a deeper level, gather new insights, broaden the fluency in navigating your eros and acquire a toolkit of practices that are useful in both intimate and daily life.
This really depends on what are you coming with.
To some people even the first session and being radically accepted for who they holistically are can offer a priceless sigh of relief.
Many prefer to attend the sessions for months or even years - especially when working with deeply woven in habits, finding a way towards deepened pleasure or reconnecting to body after an experience of trauma.
What is important is being intentional and regular with your practice. It takes time and consistency to embody a new way of being.
I usually work with people once a week, once every two weeks or once a month - but if you prefer another frequency - feel free to let me know about it!
I will never reveal the fact of your participation in our sessions to other people.
I will also not share any details that could lead to you being identified by anyone else.
If our social circles overlap - there may be a need to talk about a clear container that can serve us both in navigating it - to address the potential chance encounters.
